“I am gonna dip my quill in the well for Moss Mountain Project.  Tim Ouillette sings and plays guitar, Peter Hill is on bass and a fella named Jeff plays the drums.  The trio calls Windham home.  Among their infulences, they list gang of Four, Django reihardt and Kraftwerk.  Clearly they have a fine taste in music while also producting some superb stuff of their own.  Ouilette’s voice could rasie the dead on one song, and then it is downright calming on another...”

“Catfish Grouper Snapper, Moss Mountain Project's long awaited debut album, has finally graced the public with its uniqueness and artistry. Besides being a solid studio album, these fellows have created an interesting sound. Imagine Nick Cave singing songs written by John Lennon while incorporating a country feel..”                                        -Leonid- Boston Noise

“If Factory Records had spent their time producing folk outfits instead of punk-funk and pop-rock acts then the output might have sounded something like this.                                             - Paul Villers Americana UK, Liverpool

“Kicked up Johnny Cash? Jazz-grass?  Moss Mountain Project’s sound is as diverse and unpredictable as the weather in Maine.”
